How do I create a poll?
Use the /tinypoll command in any Slack channel. A dialog will open where you can set your question, add up to 10 answer options, and configure settings like anonymous voting.
Can I use TinyPoll in private channels?
Yes! Just invite TinyPoll to the private channel first by typing /invite @TinyPoll, then use /tinypoll as usual.
How do I edit or close a poll?
As the poll creator, you'll see management buttons below your poll. Use them to edit the question, add/remove options, or close and reopen the poll.
Is voting anonymous?
You can choose to make voting anonymous when creating a poll. When anonymous voting is enabled, no one — including the poll creator — can see who voted for what.
How long is poll data retained?
Free plan polls are automatically deleted after 7 days. Basic plan polls are retained for 30 days. Essential metadata is archived for reference.
How do I request data deletion?
Email support@tinypoll.io with your workspace name and we'll process your data deletion request within 30 days.
How do I uninstall TinyPoll?
Go to your Slack workspace settings → Manage Apps → TinyPoll → Remove. All poll data for your workspace will be deleted automatically.
